Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to support the store leadership team in delivering an outstanding customer experience for fans of music and pop culture.

You will train new recruits, support daily operations, and help achieve sales targets while leveraging product knowledge and in-store achievements. You’ll cover the sales floor, open/close duties, manage the register, and assist with merchandising changes.

Qualifications

• Retail store experience or familiarity with in-store operations is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with store duties including opening/closing when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide an engaging shopping experience and train new hires.
• Cover sales floor and support store leadership as needed.
• Open and close the store and handle register transactions.
• Drive add-on sales and communicate stock or shortages to the Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising layout.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ.
• Help maintain organized stock room and keep the store tidy.
• Help develop a collaborative, motivated team to run the store.
