Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 who loves music and pop culture to lead store operations and deliver an amazing customer experience.

You’ll train new recruits, support leadership, and help the team meet sales targets with energy and fandom knowledge. In this role you’ll open/close the store, run the register, drive add-on sales, manage planograms, share trend insights with management, and keep the stockroom organized while building a collaborative, passionate

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership abilities.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform stocking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that drives repeat visits and showcases product knowledge.
• Cover the sales floor and provide leadership support when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process sales and drive add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Understand store sales plan and KPIs: UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixtures, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Maintain stock room organization and store tidiness; prevent loss and theft.
• Develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store with you.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.
