Job summary

Allied Universal provides security and facility services and seeks a Life with part-time hours as a Security Officer – Enhanced in Houston, TX. The role offers fixed shifts with optional additional shifts to increase earnings and opportunities to grow toward a full-time schedule.

Pay rate is $22.00 per hour with a six-month anchor commitment at a designated site. Candidates need 3+ years' armed security or related experience and a Texas Level III Armed Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, policy violations, and incidents according to site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, while following applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies for armed posts.
