Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Minimum requirements include 3+ years of related experience or 5+ years armed security, Level III Armed Certification in Texas, and a valid driver's license. The compensation is $22.00 per hour with a schedule that supports part-time flexibility.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 years armed security experience.
• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct armed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support access control procedures as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and patrol activities.
