Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Houston, TX. This role offers flexible, dependable hours and a base schedule with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Position requires a valid driver’s license, Level III Armed Certification in Texas, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The role supports customer service, incident response, and routine patrols across the site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred to interact with clients and staff.
• Armed security certification or licensing may be required per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and other security‑related concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with store management, employees, customers, and law enforcement personnel.
