Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer to provide armed security at a designated site with fixed anchor shifts and optional additional shifts through the scheduling platform. The role offers a $22.00 per hour pay rate, requires active armed certification in Texas, and a minimum of 3+ years combined law enforcement/military or 5+ years armed security experience.

• Ability to perform site patrols and monitor activity.
• Ability to respond to incidents and document actions taken.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.
