Qualifications

• At least 1 year of law enforcement, or 2 years security supervisor/manager, or 3 years security-related experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License.
• College degree.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government facility with access control and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals per procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to identify access-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports and maintain documentation related to access control and daily operations.
