Superhost Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support the Accounts Payable team with invoice review, check preparation, and ACH/payment processing. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to established procedures in a growing hospitality company.

The position offers part-time hours in Naperville, IL with opportunities for growth as the company promotes from within and emphasizes teamwork and internal advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting support role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of invoice processing and check preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and complete tasks accurately.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness before processing payments.
• Verify invoice details and supporting documentation as needed.
• Prepare checks for approved invoices according to established payment procedures.
• Organize and prepare checks for mailing, including placing checks in envelopes, applying postage, and mailing payments to vendors.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, checks, and related payment documentation.
• Assist with filing and other accounts payable administrative tasks as assigned.
• Follow established accounting procedures and maintain the confidentiality of financial and vendor information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Prepare ACH payments in accounting system
