Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of accounts payable, bookkeeping support, or related clerical work.
• Strong data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with Sage 100 or another accounting system preferred.
• Basic Excel skills and strong organizational and communication abilities.
• A dependable, methodical approach with the ability to recognize issues and ask questions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Enter vendor invoices and match them to purchase orders and receiving records.
• Post customer payments and deposits and research discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate digital records and organized AP/AR documentation.
• Run reports, prepare supporting documents, and send standard customer statements and payment reminders.
• Identify errors, document findings, and elevate unusual items to management.
