Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a part-time AP/AR Specialist to support our Minneapolis manufacturing client. The role focuses on processing invoices, customer billing, and maintaining accurate financial data in ERP systems.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of AP/AR experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative setting. This position offers a flexible 20-hour week schedule and opportunities to contribute across accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of AP/AR, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments
• Generate customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections
• Enter and maintain accurate financial and operational data
• Reconcile records and assist with month-end accounting activities
• Support filing, document management, and administrative tasks
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Maintain accuracy across accounting and ERP systems
• Assist leadership with special projects and reporting as needed
