Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an onsite, contract-to-hire role in Shawnee Mission, KS. The ideal candidate will manage weekly vendor invoices and purchase orders, ensuring accurate data entry into the ERP system and timely payment runs.

Responsibilities include handling ACH runs, resolving vendor inquiries, and producing ad hoc reports while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment. 2+ years' AP experience and Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, working with vendors and purchase orders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Netsuite ERP is a plus.

Work Environment

The accounting team consists of 3 members and you will report to the Staff Accountant in the office. The role is based fully in the Lenexa office with a small office environment. Flexible working hours are available Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shawnee Mission, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
