YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a proactive Afterschool Site Lead to oversee a licensed school-age program. You will ensure safety, implement YMCA curriculum, and build strong connections with families and school partners.

The role centers on managing daily operations, coordinating activities, and maintaining compliance with licensing and program standards across sites in Katy ISD, Conroe ISD, and Humble ISD.

Formación

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED and related training.
• Minimum of 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership or management.
• Two college courses equal to 100 clock hours.
• Experience with youth in licensed facilities preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.

Responsabilidades

• Keep Children Safe by maintaining a physically and emotionally safe environment.
• Site Management as designated Site Director, overseeing afterschool operations.
• Supervision and Safety including attendance records and incident reporting.
• Behavior Management using positive strategies.
• Program Planning and Implementation of YMCA approved curriculum.
• Parent and Community Engagement with regular communication.
• Administrative Duties including enrollment and attendance records.
• Program Growth and Retention strategies to increase enrollment.
• Program Quality and evaluation through YMCA standards.
