The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead to manage a licensed school-age program serving Katy ISD, Conroe ISD, and Humble ISD. You will ensure safety, supervise staff, and coordinate daily operations in a dynamic afterschool setting.

Responsibilities include implementing YMCA curriculum, fostering family partnerships, maintaining records, and ensuring licensing compliance. This role offers part-time hours aligned with school calendars and opportunities for growth within

Qualificações

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development.
• Two college courses equivalent to 100 clock hours.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to pass state and local background checks and FBI fingerprinting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead licensed school-age program, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Coordinate daily operations, scheduling, and licensing compliance.
• Build relationships with families, school partners, and staff.
• Maintain attendance, incident reports, and program records.
• Implement YMCA curriculum and supervise staff with positive guidance.
• Ensure program safety drills, postings, and sanitation standards.
• Communicate progress and concerns to families and director.
• Oversee enrollment, attendance rosters, and administration.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and adapt for needs.
• Support program growth, retention, and quality improvements.
