Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a driven Afterschool Site Lead to manage a licensed school-age program in Katy ISD, Conroe ISD, or Humble ISD locations. You will ensure safe, engaging daily operations and implement YMCA curriculum with a focus on youth development and family engagement.

This part-time role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with families and school partners while maintaining licensing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED with 70 clock hours of child/youth development or related training.
• At least one year of experience working with youth in a licensed setting.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to pass state/local background checks and FBI fingerprinting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Texas Site Director for the afterschool program and oversee daily operations.
• Coordinate program activities, curriculum implementation, licensing compliance, and safety.
• Maintain attendance records, enrollments, and incident/reports as required.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities aligned with YMCA curricula and standards.
