Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a part‑time Afterschool Site Lead to oversee a licensed school‑age program in Katy ISD/Conroe ISD/Humble ISD locations. You will ensure safety, implement YMCA curriculum, and build strong relationships with families and school partners.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating daily operations, maintaining records, and delivering age‑appropriate activities while upholding licensing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED; 70 clock hours in youth development.
• 1 year of experience with youth in licensed settings; CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed school-age enrichment program daily to ensure safety and engagement.
• Coordinate program operations and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain licensing compliance and accurate attendance records.
• Engage with families, school partners, and YMCA staff to support program quality.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and supervise staff during shifts.
• Monitor safety drills and incident reporting.
