Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston seeks an Afterschool Site Lead to manage a licensed school-age enrichment program in Katy, TX. You will ensure safety, implement the YMCA curriculum, and build strong relationships with families, school partners, and staff.

The role concentrates on supervision, compliance, and program quality in a dynamic youth-serving environment. The position is part-time, with morning and/or afternoon shifts, and offers opportunities to lead program planning, growth, and engagement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with youth in a licensed setting.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications (or ability to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise an afterschool program site.
• Coordinate daily operations and activities.
• Ensure licensing compliance and safety policies are followed.
• Engage with families, partners, and YMCA staff.
• Maintain enrollment and attendance records.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Promote program growth and retention.
• Lead program quality and evaluation initiatives.
