Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead in Katy, TX for part-time hours. You’ll lead a licensed school-age enrichment program, ensuring children are safe, supported, and engaged daily. You will coordinate operations, implement the YMCA curriculum, and build strong relationships with families and school partners.

Base pay is $14 per hour with a $3 per hour stipend for eligible locations. The schedule includes before/after school hours and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development or related field are required.
• Two college courses equivalent to 100 clock hours are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a licensed school-age enrichment program, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Coordinate daily program operations and implement YMCA curriculum.
• Ensure licensing compliance and maintain attendance records.
• Build strong relationships with families, school partners, and YMCA staff.
• Perform administrative duties such as enrollment and attendance tracking.
