Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to oversee after-school programs, ensuring safety, engagement, and enriching activities aligned with our mission to inspire a love of learning. You will coach staff, manage attendance, and coordinate with families to deliver high-quality experiences for children.

Ideal candidates bring experience juggling priorities, a high school diploma or higher, and a passion for child development. Knowledge of Google tools and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and knowledge of unique needs.
• Coursework or training in child development.
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google tools or willingness to learn.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• tuberculosis clearance and state-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and joy by coaching staff and maintaining policies.
• Engage families and partners to support program goals and transparency.
• Ensure daily routines, attendance, and compliance with procedures.
• Document student check-ins/check-outs and maintain accurate records.
• Implement curriculum activities and foster a safe, engaging environment.
