Job summary

Right At School is seeking a part‑time Program Manager to oversee after‑school enrichment programs in local districts. The role focuses on safety, student engagement, and daily activities while coordinating staff and ensuring compliant operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience with children, strong communication skills, and comfort with Google tools. Schedule is Monday to Friday, afternoons, up to 17.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience balancing competing priorities while delivering quality service to stakeholders.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience with children and understanding of needs of diverse learners.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Strong oral, written and visual communication with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff and community.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and program quality, coach staff, and ensure licensing and attendance processes are followed.
• Support safety protocols, verify required health checks as applicable.
• Engage families and partners, respond promptly to inquiries, and coordinate with Area Manager.
• Maintain accurate student check-in/out records and attendance procedures.
• Deliver daily activities and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.
