Job summary

Arc Experience is hiring an Assistant Site Coordinator for after-school programs in Southern California. You will work directly with students, develop lesson plans, track attendance, and help ensure grant compliance while collaborating with school staff.

The role is part-time and non-exempt, reporting to the Site Coordinator with morning and afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday, including occasional minimum-day adjustments.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Able to communicate effectively with kids and parents.
• College transcripts showing 48+ credits completed or you can pass an academic proficiency exam.
• TB test and Live Scan background check required.
• English–Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator as the second contact for parents and school staff.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Establish rules to promote positive behavior and coordinate enrichment activities.
• Attend trainings to stay updated on childcare, safety, and program management.
• Lead sign-ups, track attendance, and organize clubs and activities.
