Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator for our after-school programs in Southern California. You will work directly with students, support the Site Coordinator, and help implement engaging enrichment activities across multiple school sites.

This part-time, non-exempt role focuses on safety, supervision, and program management while offering opportunities to develop leadership skills and grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with kids and parents.
• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse communities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator as the second point of contact for parents and school staff.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Establish rules to promote positive behavior and supervise activities.
• Coordinate, manage, and participate in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Attend trainings to stay updated on best practices in childcare and program management.
• Assist with sign-ups, attendance tracking, and club activities.
• Lead clubs and organize activities like homework help, crafts, and games.
