Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator to support the Site Coordinator and manage after-school programs for youth in Southern California. You will lead student activities, ensure safety, and coordinate with school staff on attendance and grant compliance.

The role offers part-time hours, with morning and afternoon shifts, and opportunities to develop leadership and program management skills in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred or fluency in both languages.
• TB test and Live Scan background check required; documentation for Covid-19 vaccination if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Coordinator as secondary contact for parents and administrators.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Enforce rules to promote positive behavior and mentor youth.
• Coordinate and lead indoor/outdoor enrichment activities and sign-up procedures.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings to stay updated on best practices in childcare and program management.
• Create clubs and activities (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance) and track attendance.
