Tri-Tech Surveying & Engineering in Houston is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist. You will manage daily AR tasks, process payments, and issue customer statements to keep accounts current.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of AR experience, proficiency with Sage, and strong Excel skills. You will thrive in a high-volume environment and support additional administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

1–2 years of accounts receivable experience.
Experience with Sage or similar accounting software.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Post daily accounts receivable payments in Sage.
Process customer credit card payments and journal entries.
Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements.
Monitor outstanding A/R balances and follow up on past-due accounts.
Contact customers regarding collections via email and telephone, including issuing demand letters when necessary.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
Provide invoice copies and process customer lien releases.
Prepare credit memos as needed.
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with general administrative duties.
