Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health in California is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Earn $21.00–$25.00 per hour for direct client services, with paid training and career growth opportunities. The role supports skill development in communication, social, behavioral, and daily living areas.

New to ABA? Training is provided. Expect a part-time schedule with afternoon/evening sessions, home/school/community

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience with children in professional, educational, or caregiving roles.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability for at least 15 hours per week, mainly afternoons/evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings and onboarding.
• Background checks, TB testing, medical clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision.
• Help clients develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement plans using evidence-based ABA strategies.
• Collect session data and track progress.
• Deliver services in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other settings.
• Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
