Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health in California is hiring compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to support children with autism and related developmental disabilities through ABA therapy.

You'll provide one-on-one services, help clients build communication, social, and daily living skills, and work under supervision of a BCBA or clinical supervisor. Training is provided and paid, with opportunities for growth and certification support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a professional, educational, caregiving, or similar capacity.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability for at least 15 hours per week, primarily during afternoons and evenings, with a consistent schedule.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and a passion for helping others.
• Must complete pre-employment screenings including background checks, TB testing, physical/fit-for-duty examination, and required health documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA or clinical supervisor.
• Help clients develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based ABA strategies and positive behavior support techniques.
• Collect session data, track client progress, and complete accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Provide services in clients' homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other assigned settings.
• Collaborate with supervisors, BCBAs, caregivers, and team members to support client progress.
• Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and team collaboration.
