Job summary

Indy Parks in Indianapolis seeks a supervisor to oversee daily operations of sports, programs and facilities at assigned park locations. You will manage recreational programming, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies with guidance from the Park Manager.

Responsibilities include developing events, scheduling classes, supervising staff, processing payments, and ensuring safety. Strong communication and organization are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated with ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Able to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• CPR and First Aid Certification and other required licenses must be obtained.
• Community orientation and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and coordination of a wide variety of recreational events.
• Schedule classes and supervise recreational programs and facilities.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional rapport with park users.
• Open/close facilities, monitors safety and enforces rules and procedures.
• Maintain records, generate reports, and participate in training sessions as required.
