Job summary

The City of Indianapolis and Marion County – Indy Parks seeks a supervisor to oversee daily sports, programs, services, and facilities at assigned park locations. You will apply policies and procedures, manage activities, and coordinate with staff to deliver high-quality recreation experiences to the community.

This role requires the ability to handle discipline, emergencies, and customer interactions, with reports to the Park Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supervision of sports, programs, services, and facilities at assigned park locations.
• Develop and coordinate recreational events and programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to park users.
