Job summary

LAZ Parking California, LLC is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee parking location operations and lead on-site teams. You will manage daily activities, coordinate payroll, and ensure compliance with client contracts, while supporting expansion efforts and maintaining high service standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 2 years in a management capacity, with strong Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
• 2+ years in a Management role preferred.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
• Parking management experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with financial statements/accounting, P&L reports and budgeting.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and develop team of employees at parking location(s).
• Manage, plan, schedule, train and direct the activities of on-site employees.
• Identify high potential employees to support growth.
• Payroll processing; sign off on hours; coordinate with payroll to ensure pay data is correct.
• Plan for opening of newly assigned locations.
• Develop client relationships and business retention.
• Organize and narrate parking management skills for Supervisors and Team Leads.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements with LAZ Parking clients.
• Assist region with operations preparation for potential new locations (rate surveys, ticket pulls).
• Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports.
• Maximize revenue, control expenses, and maintain service levels as per clients' expectations.
• Oversee labor contracts where applicable; participate in contract management.
• Coordinate with local police and emergency management; oversee event operations.
