Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is a parking operations company using computer vision to enable checkout-free parking experiences. The role focuses on maintaining an orderly location, directing customers, and ensuring safety and policy compliance at the Sacramento site.

Responsibilities include managing shift coverage, assisting customers, and coordinating with the Facility Manager on maintenance and safety issues.

Qualifications

• Education/experience requirements indicate no high school diploma or only minimal related experience.
• License requirement: valid state-issued driver’s license may be needed for driving a company vehicle.
• Availability to work varying shifts including 2nd/3rd shift and weekends.
• Language and math requirements: ability to read/write simple material and perform basic arithmetic.
• Appearance: neat, uniformed, professional presentation.
• Physical demands: standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location and monitor parking flow during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for policy breaches.
• Patrol parking levels by foot or cart and assist customers.
• Help customers locate their vehicle if they forget where parked.
• Be punctual and in uniform for every scheduled shift.
• Assist customers and direct to Facility Manager if needed.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as required.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and general tasks.
• Report accidents, hazards, or policy breaches to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills, and issues to garage office.
• Occasionally substitute for Valets when necessary.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of garage and surrounding area.

Education

Less than High School education or 1 month related experience
