SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a part-time Parking Attendant in Sacramento, CA. You will direct customers, assist with parking, issue warnings, and help maintain a safe, clean garage environment.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
• Availability: May require 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends.
• Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Math: Ability to perform basic arithmetic with dollars.
• Appearance: Neat, clean uniform at all times.
• Physical: Stand/walk for long periods, occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts.
• Help customers locate their vehicle.
• Be punctual and in uniform for every shift.
• Assist customers and direct to Facility Manager if needed.
• Control traffic at entrances/exits.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and general tasks as directed.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to Facility Manager.
• Know all garage areas and local streets/landmarks.
