SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer in Los Angeles to ensure compliance with parking policies on streets, lots, and campuses. You will handle citations, assist with equipment maintenance, and support event parking operations while working independently with sound judgement.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of local geography, and the ability to operate a vehicle or bicycle in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with local geography and safety precautions.
• Ability to use a handheld computer for ticketing and data entry.
• Capable of operating a vehicle or bicycle and navigating traffic.
• Understanding and applying parking rules with tact and diplomacy.
• Willingness to work in varying weather and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor streets, lots, garages, and campuses for policy compliance.
• Answer questions on directions, events, and parking rules.
• Issue citations/warnings; impound or relocate vehicles when needed.
• Support parking equipment maintenance and meter upkeep.
• Assist event staff with parking for events and permit sales data entry.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
