Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to monitor streets and facilities and ensure adherence to parking policies. You will issue citations, assist with maintenance of meters and equipment, and support event parking operations. This role requires independent work, good judgment, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Geography knowledge of enforcement area.
• Ability to use a handheld computer.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver''s license.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated streets, lots, garages, or campus to enforce parking policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies.
• Issue citations and warnings for non‑compliance with a computerized handheld or manual tickets; impound, boot or relocate vehicles as directed.
• This position requires the ability to work alone and therefore must exercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy.
• Assist maintenance staff with parking equipment and facility upkeep and maintenance.
• Assist in the collection and security of all parking revenues and fees; assist event staff with parking for events.
• Assist office staff with permit sales during peak seasons (data entry, mailings, frontline service).
• Other related duties as assigned.
