Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to monitor streets, lots, and campuses, ensuring compliance with parking policies while delivering excellent customer service. You will issue citations, assist with equipment maintenance, and support event parking operations.

The role requires independent judgment, the ability to work in all weather, and a valid driver’s license. Training is provided, and a dynamic team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Must show sound independent judgment and maintain high level of customer service.
• Knowledge of local geography and hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to operate a handheld computer and official parking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated streets, lots, garages, or campuses to enforce parking policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions about directions, events, and parking rules.
• Issue citations and warnings; impound or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Assist maintenance staff with parking equipment and facility upkeep.
• Assist in revenue collection from meters and pay-on-foot systems.
• Support event staff with parking for events and lot usage control.
• Assist with permit sales processes during peak seasons.
