Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring a Parking Enforcement Officer - Driving to monitor streets, lots, and campuses for parking policy compliance. You will issue citations, provide directions, and assist with events and maintenance as needed.

The role requires the ability to work alone, strong judgment, and excellent customer service, while interacting with the public in a courteous manner. A valid driver's license and willingness to work various shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geography of the enforcement area.
• Awareness of hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to operate a handheld computer.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
• Ability to understand and enforce parking regulations.
• Ability to interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years or older at hire time.

Responsibilities

• Monitor streets, lots, garages, or campus to ensure policy compliance.
• Provide directions and answer questions about parking policies.
• Issue citations and warnings; impound or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Work independently with sound judgment and diplomacy.
• Assist maintenance staff with parking equipment and facility upkeep.
• Support event staff with parking setup and traffic control.
