Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer - Driving to monitor and enforce parking policies on a campus/location. The role emphasizes driving, independent work, and strong customer service in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include issuing citations, assisting with equipment and event parking, and helping with permit sales during peak seasons. The position requires a valid driver's license and ability to work varied shifts in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.
• Able to walk for extended periods and work in all weather.
• Knowledge of local geography and parking regulations.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
• Strong judgment, tact and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated streets, lots, garages, and campuses to ensure compliance with parking policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies.
• Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance; impound, boot or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Work alone and exercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with people.
• Assist maintenance staff with parking equipment and facility upkeep and maintenance, including meters and signs.
• Assist in the collection and security of parking revenues and fees.
• Assist event staff with parking for events and lot usage control.
• Assist office staff with permit sales during peak seasons; data entry and front-line customer service.
