Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, seeks a Parking Enforcement Officer in Denver, CO. This role involves monitoring streets and lots for policy compliance, issuing citations, and assisting with parking equipment and events.

The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, operate a vehicle or bicycle, and work in all weather conditions. Training and a competitive hourly wage are offered.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the geography of the enforcement area.
Hazards and safety precautions awareness.
Ability to use a handheld computer.
Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
Understanding and application of parking regulations.
Courteous, tactful interaction with others.
Ability to walk for extended periods.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Monitor designated streets, lots, garages, or campuses for policy compliance.
Provide customer service by answering questions on directions, events, locations and policies.
Issue citations and warnings using handheld devices or manual tickets; impound or relocate vehicles as directed.
Work independently with sound judgment and diplomacy.
Assist maintenance with parking equipment and facility upkeep.
