SP Plus Corporation is seeking a parking enforcement officer to monitor streets and facilities, ensure compliance with parking policies, and provide courteous customer service. The role involves issuing warnings, citations, and assisting with equipment maintenance, event parking, and permit sales.

The position requires the ability to work independently in various weather conditions and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geography of the area they are enforcing.
• Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to use a handheld computer.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
• Ability to understand and apply parking regulations.
• Ability to interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner.
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Monitor streets, lots, garages, or campus to ensure parking policy compliance.
• Provide customer service by answering questions about directions and policies.
• Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance; impound, boot or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Work alone using sound judgment, tact and diplomacy.
• Assist in maintenance and operation of parking equipment and meters.
• Assist with event parking logistics and traffic control.
• Assist with permit sales and data entry during peak seasons.
• Other related duties as assigned.
