Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to monitor assigned streets, lots, and campuses, ensuring compliance with parking policies. The role emphasizes customer service, citations, and support for maintenance and event staff.

Enforcement Officers operate in various weather conditions and may work 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday–Friday, with responsibilities including data entry, traffic control at events, and assisting with permit sales. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Independent judgment and strong customer service
• Geography knowledge of enforcement area
• Ability to use a handheld computer
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle
• Understanding and applying parking regulations
• Ability to interact courteously with others
• Ability to walk for extended periods
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Monitor streets, lots, garages to enforce policies
• Provide customer service by answering questions on directions, events, building locations and parking policies
• Issue citations and warnings using a handheld computer or tickets; impound/relocate as directed
• Assist maintenance staff with parking equipment upkeep and repairs
• Assist in parking for events and lot usage control
• Assist in permit sales data entry and frontline customer service
• Other related duties as assigned
