Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to monitor designated areas and enforce parking rules on a 24/7 basis. You will issue citations, assist customers, and coordinate with staff to keep lots secure and compliant.

The role requires the ability to work alone, exercise good judgment in dynamic environments, and stand/walk for long periods in all weather conditions. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local parking regulations and locations.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service under pressure.
• Comfort with using handheld ticketing devices and basic tech.
• Willingness to operate a vehicle or bike as needed.
• Ability to make sound judgments and communicate professionally.
• Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor streets, lots, and campuses to enforce parking policies.
• Issue citations and warnings; impound or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Provide directions and assist with parking policies for customers.
• Train officers and participate in programs to improve satisfaction.
• Assist with maintenance and data collection related to parking operations.
• Support event staff with parking logistics and revenue collection.
