Job summary

The Parking Spot is seeking an Assistant Manager in Columbus, OH, working Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm to 12am, full-time. You will support the General Manager in daily operations of the facility and fleet, including hiring, training, and staff management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant management experience.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Ability to prioritize work and promptly follow directions.
• Excellent English communication (verbal / written) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills to gather and summarize data for reports.
• Currently holds, or is able to obtain, all applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle, including a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to take a physical and pass as a certified Interstate driver as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the facility and fleet appearance and condition.
• Supervises employee performance within a shift to meet operational standards.
• Trains employees to perform their responsibilities.
• Completes assigned projects relating to operational improvements, maintenance and shuttle repair.
• Manages customer service issues and ensures guest satisfaction.
• Enforces all company policies and procedures as per the Employee Handbook.
• Responds to shift coverage needs by contacting staff or covering shifts.
• Complies with Federal, State, and Local regulations for operating commercial vehicles.
• Performs additional duties as reasonably requested by Management.
