Job summary

The Parking Spot is seeking an Assistant Manager in Columbus, OH, working Wednesday through Sunday from 4pm to 12am. You will support the General Manager in daily operations, oversee facility and fleet, and help hire and train staff. This is a fast-paced, owner-like role with clear paths to higher leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant management experience.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Ability to prioritize work and promptly follow directions.
• Excellent English communication (verbal / written) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills to gather and summarize data for reports.
• Must hold or obtain valid driver’s license to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Willing to take a physical and pass Interstate driver requirements as part of selection.

Responsibilities

• Oversees facility and fleet appearance and condition.
• Supervise staff on shift to meet operational standards.
• Train staff on responsibilities and procedures.
• Complete projects related to operations, maintenance, and shuttle repair.
• Manage customer service issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Enforce company policies as per Employee Handbook.
• Fill shifts by contacting employees or covering shifts as needed.
• Comply with Federal, State, and Local vehicle operation regulations.
