Job summary

The Parking Spot is seeking an Assistant Manager in Columbus, OH to support the General Manager in day-to-day operations of the facility and fleet. You will recruit, train and manage staff while maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

This full-time role requires a flexible Wednesday–Sunday schedule (4pm–12am) with Monday and Tuesday off, and offers an employee ownership program, ongoing development, and a discretionary annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant management experience
• Flexible, varied schedule
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to operate a commercial vehicle
• Experience hiring, training and supervising staff

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility and fleet operations and appearance
• Supervise staff during shifts to meet operational standards
• Train employees for their responsibilities
• Complete projects related to maintenance and operational improvements
• Handle customer service issues and enforce policies
• Respond to shift coverage needs and cover shifts if required
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local vehicle regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
