Job summary

Sky Zone is seeking a hands-on Team Lead for full-time, onsite operations in California. The role rotates through Sales & Service, Parties & Events, and Food & Beverage/Facilities, stepping in as Manager on Duty when leaders aren’t on site to keep the park running smoothly.

You’ll coach teammates, drive guest experiences, ensure safety, and support shift leadership from the floor while promoting WOW service standards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in operations or guest-facing roles.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Background in retail sales, food & beverage, amusement/entertainment, or recreation is preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office/Teams; comfortable learning new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when GM/OM are not present, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and team accountability.
• Provide proactive, on-the-floor leadership by coaching, supporting, and delegating to Team Members across all departments.
• Step into any operational area as needed (Sales, Parties & Events, Café, Front Desk, etc.) to maintain guest experiences and flow.
• Drive front desk performance and membership sales while delivering service excellence; coach team to maximize conversions.
• Lead parties and events, manage scheduling and upsell opportunities; ensure guest delight from booking to completion.
• Enforce safety policies, complete incident reports, and maintain opening/closing procedures and cleanliness.
