Job summary

Kids Empire Illinois LLC in West Chicago, IL seeks a Park Assistant Manager to oversee daily park operations, supervise staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and handle guest queries while maintaining safety and service standards. You will work closely with the Park Manager to train, audit, and optimize operations.

The role requires engaging with families and children, opening/closing the park, managing check-ins, and handling front-end billing and inventory tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must work weekends and holidays.
• Able to work with children.
• Operate an iPad.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; conflict resolution.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• Make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Prioritize guest satisfaction and safety.
• Read and write in English.
• Work independently.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests quickly and make them feel comfortable.
• Supervise employees to meet production goals.
• Assist Park Manager with training, development, and auditing.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Audit schedules and obtain Park Manager approval.
• Open and close the park using keys or a code.
• Communicate guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
• Process check-in using an iPad and collect guest information.
• Handle front cash counter and POS transactions.
• Organize snacks and inventory; restock as needed.
• Walk floor to ensure safety and enforce rules.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and park structures.
• Schedule and coordinate family events.
• Other duties as assigned.
