Job summary

Kids Empire in New York is seeking a Park Assistant Manager to supervise daily park operations, ensure safety, and deliver excellent guest service. You will lead a team, train staff, and coordinate duties to keep the park running smoothly.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, plus comfort working with families and children. You’ll handle guest inquiries, assist with events, and enforce park rules during busy weekend hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend and holiday work required.
• Able to work with children.
• Operate an iPad.
• Good communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
• Leadership and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Focus on guest satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests quickly, greet them, and make them comfortable.
• Supervise employees to meet production goals.
• Assist Park Manager with training, development, and auditing.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Audit schedules and obtain Park Manager approvals.
• Open/close park using keys or code.
• Communicate guest or employee issues to Park Manager.
• Manage check-in process and liability waivers via iPad.
• Handle cash at front counter and POS transactions.
• Organize snacks and inventory; replenish supplies.
• Walk floor to monitor safety and adherence to rules.
• Clean and sanitize park areas and restrooms.
• Schedule and coordinate family events and assist events to run smoothly.
• Other duties as assigned.
