Job summary

NorthCare is seeking a dedicated Parent Partner to mentor families involved with the juvenile court and child welfare system. You will use lived experience to guide parents toward safe, sustainable paths, supporting court processes, ISP goals, and family reunification efforts.

Responsibilities include advocacy, transportation coordination, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A high school diploma is required, with CPR/First Aid and Therapeutic Options certifications preferred or

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience with Oklahoma Human Services Child Welfare permanency or Family Centered Services case.
• Must have one year passed since end of the closed OHS case.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PRSS certification preferred or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist parents to regain home placement for children as quickly and safely as possible.
• Engage with parents and court processes, supporting ISP goals.
• Offer encouragement, advocacy, and guidance based on lived experience.
• Coordinate transportation and community resource referrals.
• Attend family team meetings, court appearances, and agency trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions.
