Job summary

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services is seeking a Parent/Caregiver Partner (Mentor) to provide direct support to youth, families, and caregivers in community, home, or school environments. You will share recovery experiences and assist participants in navigating systems such as Regional Center and Juvenile Services.

As part of East Bay Wrap, you will undergo training in clinical modalities and documentation standards, while promoting wraparound, family-centered supports and cultural

Qualifications

• Experience in social services or mental health settings for youth or families.
• Ability to use de-escalation techniques per trauma-informed care.
• Cultural responsiveness and ability to work with diverse families.
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic clinical documentation.
• Clean driving record and CA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and mentorship to youth, young adults, and families in community, home, or school settings.
• Support recovery/resilience and navigation of systems (Regional Center, services, education, justice, etc.).
• Document patterns of behavior and incidents; participate in training and supervision.
