Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have lived experience with substance abuse, treatment and recovery; active recovery preferred.
• Knowledge of recovery resources and experience interacting with individuals seeking recovery.
• Personal experience with child welfare preferred.
• Must possess a valid state Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides for safety, stability and well-being of children and families during the referral period.
• Delivers culturally competent, strengths-based services.
• Connects with family and case manager to complete assessments and recovery planning.
• Engages with clients weekly for one-on-one support and coordinates resources as needed.
• Drives to various DCCCA locations for service delivery as required.
