Counseling and Research Associates, Inc. is seeking a Parent Partner to join our multidisciplinary team supporting child and youth behavioral health programs.

The role draws on lived experience as a parent or caregiver to provide peer support, promote family voice and choice, and build resiliency and engagement among families. The Parent Partner helps families navigate complex systems, prepares them for CFT meetings, and collaborates with service providers to advocate effectively for children

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification required.
• Lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child involved with welfare or justice systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer mentoring and support to parents and caregivers.
• Promote family voice and choice in planning and decision making.
• Assist families in preparing for and participating in CFT meetings.
• Help families navigate behavioral health and related service systems.
