Job summary

MV Transportation seeks an Operations Manager for our Jacksonville, FL location. You will lead daily operations of a paratransit contract, directing staff, ensuring on-time service and customer relations, and driving safety and compliance programs.

You will manage scheduling, staff training, and performance metrics, while partnering with the support team to meet annual business plans and client expectations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in a paratransit-style operation.
• Experience scheduling and personnel management.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of contractual obligations is essential.
• Trapeze experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-time performance and driver availability.
• Oversee call center functions and customer relations.
• Identify, hire, train and mentor location staff.
• Communicate effectively with staff and support teams.
• Support safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safety culture and conduct audits.
• Engage with clients to meet or exceed expectations.
• Review key operational metrics weekly and monthly.
• Promote and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Participate in labor and employee relations at the location.
